Scholarship Applications to close on 31st!

The Haldimand Girls Hockey Association (HGHA) is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for our annual Scholarship Award valued at $1000.



We are looking for current HGHA players/coaching staff who demonstrate “RiverCat” qualities both on and off the ice. (For example: dedication, selfless attitude, hard worker, sportsmanship, etc.).


Award Criteria:
1. Current player or coaching staff member within the HGHA.
2. Minimum of 2 consecutive years with the HGHA prior to receiving the award.
3. A total of at least 3 years with the HGHA.
4. Minimum C average.

Applications must include the following:
1. An application letter or a resume which must outline your contributions to the
         HGHA and to your community and/or school.
2. Proof of grade average (i.e. Letter from school).
3. At least one letter of recommendation from a HGHA coaching staff member.

***Please note that applicants are welcome to apply to the scholarship prior to receiving an acceptance from a college/university. However, the scholarship recipient will be required to show proof of their college/university enrollment before the scholarship will be granted.

Scholarship Applications are due by March 31, 2020 (11:59pm)
