Scholarship Award Recipient

The scholarship committee has spent a great deal of time reviewing applications for this year’s scholarship. We were presented with some very solid and well rounded applicants and it proved to be a very difficult decision with lots of discussion. Although the race was very close, one application really stood out.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Rivercat Scholarship will be awarded to:

Brooke Gillyatt

Congratulations!!!!!

Brooke demonstrated everything that the scholarship committee was looking for in the ideal candidate. She truly has “RiverCat” qualities. It was evident that Brooke is dedicated/loyal, has a selfless attitude, is a hard worker and has great sportsmanship. Brooke has exceptional community contributions. Brooke also was a mentor to younger goalies, and it was her contributions to our RiverCat organization that really set her apart from the other applicants.Well done Brooke!!!

Thank you very much to all the applicants. You really are a standout group of ladies and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. The future will be very bright for all of you!!

Sincerely,The HGHA Scholarship Committee
