Fall Season
Submitted By Jackie Lise on Tuesday, August 18, 2020
We hope everyone has been enjoying their summer and staying well.

We wanted to send out a brief update of what we know so far. Slowly information is filtering down to us and our plans for the fall hockey season are under way! We are working under the direction of our 3 parent organizations, Hockey Canada, Ontario Hockey Federation and the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association along with Haldimand County Facilities to develop a safe and successful plan to get our girls back on the ice.

The link for the most recent update from OWHA is available here

We are looking at an early October start date when the ice is back in at all County arenas, and most likely looking at a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 game play scenario.

We expect some more information from OWHA in the next week, from there we hope to have our registration open shortly after.

If you are thinking of helping out this season or need to update yours, Criminal record checks can be completed online at Ontario Provincial Police. They may take a bit longer than we are used too. You will receive a call to go pick it up and at that time will need to show all proper forms of identification.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate all of the questions and unknowns! Looking forward to our Cats being back on the ice!!
